HARRY FROESCHKE
Longview Artist

ABOUT
I am a self-taught artist who began exploring my creativity through colored pencil a few years ago. What began as a simple desire to draw has grown into a deeply meaningful artistic journey, working color pencil, acrylic paint and recently oil paint.
I am particularly drawn to geometric art—the balance of shapes, lines, color, movement, and space. I find something both calming and exciting in the structure of geometric forms, and I enjoy exploring how those elements can come together to create a sense of harmony and energy. My work is inspired by artists such as Piet Mondrian, Ilya Bolotowsky, Gerald Johnson, and the concrete art and geometric artists of South America and Cuba.
The joy I experience through creating art has been a great surprise in my life. Painting has become much more than a creative outlet; it has given me a way to process emotions, find peace, and reconnect with myself. Through the process of making art, I have discovered a form of healing from past trauma that I never expected.

Art
My work is a reflection of my journey. Through color, geometry, and composition, I create pieces that invite both myself and the viewer to pause, explore, and experience the quiet joy that can be found in creativity. I am continuing to learn and grow as an artist, allowing curiosity to guide me wherever the work takes me.
